Hi all, and happy Monday. The next two weeks are going to be kind of busy for me as I finish up
Winter term at school. I have a paper to write, two final exams, and some busy work. I'm looking forward to wrapping it up. Next term I have a community health class, which is one of the nursing topics I'm most interested in.
This week I'm posting today and Friday. And all I have today is this smoothie that I made over the weekend:
Kale, mango, banana, mandarins, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and flax meal. I'm still having a smoothie every day. It really works for me.
This is week 2 of the Healthy Vegan Challenge. I strayed a bit from my plan over the weekend, so today I'm back on track, following the Eat To Live nutritarian guidelines. It was interesting to see what a difference it makes to do what works for my body vs what makes me feel less than ideal. It's also nice to feel in touch with my body and my health. Glad for that. This week I'll be doing the things that make me feel the best. I'll need the extra energy for a full week at work (which has been ridiculously busy lately) and my sprint to finish up Winter term.
Take care this week, and I look forward to seeing you on Friday.

Yummy! :)))
ReplyDeleteI just saw your last post and I love dandy blend! I add a scoop to my chocolate smoothies for a nice "latte" taste. Mmm!
Good idea!
DeleteGood luck wrapping up the winter term! I have a good feeling that the challenge will help you power through the paper writing and study sessions :) The smoothie looks beautiful and sounds like a delicious combination! I can't wait to have smoothies again :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI strayed over the weekend too. Definitely interesting to see how a healthy body realizes those slip-ups so much more!
ReplyDeleteDelicious sounding smoothie!
It's good incentive to keep it healthy :)
DeleteI've still been doing up the green smoothies every day too. :) Glad you're doing well!
